As long I can remember, I always wanted to be “different”, I didn’t want to be that typical Asian kid in America, I guess that's why I started skateboarding to be “cool”. I was like a sponge as a kid, I grasped everything pretty quickly and I was able to adapt to pretty much in any situation. My whole youth as a kid I focused on how to be different and I have learned that individuals are equivalent to a brand and I wanted to be “brand” that everyone wishes to have at the same time they can’t because it is very rare.
